" ஆனாலும் கல்வி அறிவு இல்லாத அரசனைவிட எமதர்மன் மிகவும் நல்லவன். "
" ஏனென்றால் கல்வி அறிவு இல்லாத அரசன் அறம் எது, நீதி எது என்று ஆராயாமல் குற்றம் சாற்றப்பட்டவரை உடனே கொன்று விடு என்று கட்டளையிட்டு விடுவான். "
" ஆனால் எமதர்மனோ நல்லவர்களின் பக்கத்தில் நிற்கவும் தயங்கி அவர்களின் காலம் முடியும் வரை காத்திருப்பான். "
