அனைவரின் பிழைகளை மன்னித்து எங்கும் ஒளிமயமாகி வியாபித்து இருக்கும் சிவபெருமானை வானவர்கள் வணங்க அழுக்குகளையெல்லாம் எரித்து எதையும் தூய்மையாக்கும் அக்கினி தக்கன் யாகத்தில் கலந்து கொண்டு தூய்மை கெட்டதால் தன் குற்றம் நீங்க சிவனின் திருவடிகளை பற்றிக்கொள்ள சிவனும் அன்போடு அக்னிக்கு அருள் செய்ய ஓடிவந்தான்.
Translation
।। Thirumoolar Thirumandhiram - Irandaam Thandhiram - 4. Dhakkan Velvi - Song 5 ( Song 357 in Thirumandhiram ) - Meaning ।।
" Lord Shiva who thus is ever pervading as the divine light forgives the mistakes of his devotees and as the DemiGods surrendered unto Him. Lord Agni who burns the impurities of anything that is offered to it became impure by participating in the Sacrifice of Dakkan and he fell at the divine feet of Lord Shiva repenting for his mistakes and Lord Shiva also came running with affection to grace him."

உயிர்கள் அறியாமையால் செய்யும் தவறுகளை உணர்ந்து தன்னை திருத்திக்கொண்டு அந்த தவறில் அணுவாய் கலந்திருக்கும் இறைவனின் திருவடிகளை நினைத்து உள்ளத்தில் பற்றிக்கொள்ள இறைவன் அன்போடு அவர்களுக்கு அருள் செய்ய ஒடிவருவான்.

" When living beings out of ignorance, realize their mistakes and attempts to rectify their mistakes, and contemplate on the divine feet of Lord Shiva seeking His grace, the Lord who exists as atoms within those mistakes too comes running towards them to forgive them and graces them by showering his blessings. "
