" இரவு பகல் என்று தெரியாமல் எந்த சிந்தனையும் எண்ணங்கள் அற்று உடலாலும் உள்ளத்தாலும் மற்றும் உலக பந்தங்கள் என்று எதனாலும் பாதிக்காமல் தன்னை மறந்த நிலையில் இருந்தால் தனக்கும் உண்டாகும் பேரானந்த சிவனாந்தத் தேனை உலகத்தார் அருந்தினால் உயிர்கள் உடம்பில் வாழ இறைவனால் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட 96 தத்துவங்கள் நீங்கும். அவை அனைத்தும் தன்னுடையது என்று எண்ணும் மாயை நீங்கும். "
" உலக இன்பங்களை பெற எண்ணி பொய்யான தவங்கள் செய்ய வேண்டும் என்ற எண்ணம் நீங்கும். "
" இந்த உலகைப்பற்றிய நினைப்பொழிந்து தமக்குள் "
" சிவபோகமாகிய என்றும் அழியாத உண்மை வீட்டில் பேரானந்த மயக்கத்துள் இருக்கலாம். "

।। Thirumoolar Thirumandhiram - Mudhal Thandhiram - 33. Not drinking liquor - Song 11( Song 334 in Thirumandhiram ) - Meaning ।।
" Without realizing day or night and without any thoughts about one's body or mind or about other worldly relations being undisturbed the one who is in a deep meditative state on Lord Shiva forgetting about Self and thus able to consume the Supreme blissful Ambrosia all the 96 elements that are needed for a life to exist within a body gets released. The sense of thinking that those are one's own just vanishes. "
" Also the thought to do penance that are not real and done with a motive to obtain worldly comforts just disappear. "
" The thought about this world just disappears
"as one dwells within the permanent residence of Union with Lord Shiva which gives Supreme bliss."
