अरौद्रः कुण्डली चक्री विक्रम्यूर्जितशासनः ।
शब्दातिगः शब्दसहः शिशिरः शर्वरीकरः ।। ९७ ।।

Transliteration - English


Aroudraha kunndalee chakree vikramyoorjithashaasanaha ।
Shabdhaathigaha shabdhasahaha shishiraha sharvareekaraha ।। 97 ।।

Transliteration - Tamil


அரௌத்ரஹ​ குண்டலீ சக்ரீ விக்ரம்யூர்ஜிதஷாஸனஹ​​ ​।
ஷப்தாதிகஹ​ ஷப்தஸஹஹ​ ஷிஷிரஹ ஷர்வரீகரஹ​​ ।। ௯௭।।

Translation


906. Aroudraha:

Action, attachment and anger these three are Roudra. The Lord is one whose desires are all accomplished,so He has no attachment or aversion.So He is free from the Roudras mentioned above.

907. Kunndalee:

One who has taken the form of Adisesha.

908. Chakree:

One who sports in his hand the discus named Sudarshana,which is the category known as Manas,for the protection of all the worlds.

909. Vikrami:

One with Giant Strides and Great Prowess.

910. Oorjithashaasanaha:

His commands are inviolable and strongly rooted in the Vedas.

911. Shabdhaathigaha:

He Who is beyond words.

912. Shabdhasahaha:

One who is the purport of all Vedas.

913. Shishiraha:

One who is the shelter to those who are burning in the three types of wordly fires-sufferings arising from material causes,psychological causes and spiritual causes.

914. Sharvareekaraha:

For those in bondage, the Atman is like Sarvari (night) and for an enlightened one the state of samsara is like night(Sarvari).So the Lord is called the one who generates Sarvari or night for both the enlightened and the bound ones.
