विहायसगतिर्ज्योतिः सुरुचिर्हुतभुग्विभुः।
रविर्विरोचनः सूर्यः सविता रविलोचनः ।। ९४ ।।

Transliteration - English


Vihaayasagathirjyothihi suruchirhuthabhugvibhuhu ।
Ravirvirochanaha sooryaha savithaa ravilochanaha ।। 94 ।।

Transliteration - Tamil


விஹாயஸகதிர்ஜ்யோதிஹி ஸுருசிர்ஹுதபுக்விபுஹு ​।
ரவிர்விரோசனஹ​ ஸூர்யஹ​ ஸவிதா ரவிலோசனஹ​ ।। ௯௪।।

Translation


876. Vihaayasagathir:

One who is the support of Vishupada.

877. Jyothihi :

One who is the light of self-luminous consciousness that reveals oneself as well as other things.

878. Suruchir:

The Lord whose Ruchi i.e. brilliance or will, is of an attractive nature.

879. Huthabhug :

One who eats,that is,receives,whatever is offered to whatever deities(Devas)in all sacrifices.

880. Vibhuhu:

One who dwells everywhere. Or one who is the master of all the three worlds.

881. Ravir:

One who absorbs all Rasas (fluids) in the form of the Sun.

882. Virochanaha:

One who shines in many ways.

883. Sooryaha:

One who generates Shri or brilliance in Surya. Or Agni (Fire)is what is called Surya.

884. Savithaa :

One who brings forth (Prasava) all the worlds.

885. Ravilochanaha:

One having the sun as the eye.
