समावर्तो निवृत्तात्मा दुर्जयो दुरतिक्रमः ।
दुर्लभो दुर्गमो दुर्गो दुरावासो दुरारिहा ।। ८३ ।।

Transliteration - English


Samaavartho nivruththaathmaa durjayo durathikramaha ।
Durlabho durgamo durgo duraavaaso duraarihaa ।। 83 ।।

Transliteration - Tamil


ஸமாவர்தோ நிவ்ருத்தாத்மா துர்ஜயோ துரதிக்ரமஹ​​ ।
துர்லபோ துர்கமோ துர்கோ துராவாஸோ துராரிஹா ।। ௮௩ ।।

Translation


773. Samaavartho:

One who effectively whirls the wheel of Samsara.

774. Anivruththaathmaa :

One who is not Nivruta (separated from) anything or anywhere,because He is all-pervading.

775. Durjayo:

One who cannot be conquered.

776. Durathikramaha:

One out of fear of whom, even heavenly objects like sun do not dare to oppose His command.

777. Durlabho:

He Who can be attained only through single minded devotion.

778. Durgamo :

He is difficult to attain because of His Effulgence.

779. Durgo:

He is not easily realised due to great obstacles.

780. Duraavaaso:

He whom the Yogis with very great difficulty bring to reside in their hearts in Samadhi.

781. Duraarihaa:

One who destroys beings like Asuras.
