वेधाः स्वाङगोऽजितः कृष्णो दृढः संकर्षणोऽच्युतः ।
वरुणो वारुणो वृक्षः पुष्कराक्षो महामनाः ।। ५९ ।।

Transliteration - English


Vedhaahaa svaangoajithaha krushno drudaha sankarshanoachyuthaha ।
Varuno vaaruno vrukshaha pushkaraaksho mahaamanaahaa ।। 59 ।।

Transliteration - Tamil


வேதாஹா ஸ்வாங்கோஅஜிதஹ​ க்ருஷ்ணோ த்ரு​டஹ​ ஸங்கர்ஷணோஅச்யுதஹ​ ।
வருணோ வாருணோ வ்ருக்ஷஹ​ புஷ்கராக்ஷோ மஹாமனாஹா​​ ।। ௫௯ ।।

Translation


547. Vedhaahaa:

One who does Vidhana or regulation.

548. Svaango:

One who is oneself, the participant in accomplishing works.

549. Ajithaha:

One who has not been conquered by anyone in His various incarnations.

550. Krushno:

One who is known as Krishna-dvaipayana.

551. Drudaha:

One whose nature and capacity know no decay.

552. Sankarshanoachyuthaha :

Sankarshana is one who attracts to oneself all beings at the time of cosmic Dissolution and Achyutha is one who knows no fall from His real nature.

553. Varuno:

The evening sun is called Varuna, because he withdraws his rays into himself.

554. Vaaruno:

Vasishta or Agastya, the sons of Varuna.

555. Vrukshaha:

One who is unshakable like a tree.

556. Pushkaraaksho:

One who shines as the light of consciousness when meditated upon in the lotus of the heart.

557. Mahaamanaahaa:

One who fulfils the three functions of creation, sustentation and dissolution of the universe by the mind alone.
