रामो विरामो विरतो मार्गो नेयो नयोऽनयः ।
वीरश्शक्तिमतां श्रेष्टो धर्मो धर्मविदुत्तमः।। ४३।।

Transliteration - English


Raamo viraamo viratho maargo neyo nayoanayaha ।
Veerashshakthimathaam shreshto dharmo dharmaviduththamaha ।। 43 ।।

Transliteration - Tamil


ராமோ விராமோ விரதோ மார்கோ நேயோ நயோஅநயஹ​ ।
வீரஷ்ஷக்திமதாம் ஷ்ரேஷ்டோ தர்மோ தர்மவிதுத்தமஹ​ ​​​​​​​ ।। ௪௩।

Translation


394. Raamo:

The eternally blissful in whom the Yogis find delight.

395. Viraamo:

One in whom the Viraama or end of all beings takes place.

396. Viratho:

One in whom the desire for enjoyments has ceased.

397. Maargo:

That path by knowing which the liberation-seeking ascetics attain immortality.

398. Neyo:

One who directs or leads the Jiva to the Supreme Being through spiritual realization.

399. Nayo:

One who leads, that is, who is the leader in the form of spiritual illumination.

400. Anayaha:

One for whom there is no leader.

401. Veera:

One who is valorous.

402. Shakthimathaam Shreshto:

One who is the most powerful among all powerful beings like Brahma.

403. Dharmo :

One who supports all beings.

404. Dharmaviduththamaha :

The greatest of knower of Dharma. He is called so because all the scriptures consisting of Shrutis and Smrutis form His commandments.
