सुप्रसादः प्रसन्नात्मा विश्वसृग्विश्वभुग्विभुः ।
सत्कर्ता सत्कृतस्साधुर्जह्नुर्नारायणो नरः ।। २६।।

Transliteration - English


Suprasaadhaha prasannaathmaa vishvasrugvishvabhugvibhuhu ।
Sathkarthaa sathkruthassaadhurjahnurnaaraayano naraha ।। 26 ।।

Transliteration - Tamil


ஸுப்ரஸாதஹ​ ப்ரஸன்னாத்மா விஷ்வஸ்ருக்விஷ்வபுக்விபுஹு​​ ।
ஸத்கர்தா ஸத்க்ருதஸ்ஸாதுர்ஜஹ்னுர்நாராயணோ நரஹ​​ ।। ௨௬ ।।

Translation


236. सुप्रसादः - Suprasaadaha:

One whose Prasada or mercy is uniquely wonderful, because He gives salvation to Sisupala and others who try to harm Him.

237. प्रसन्नात्मा - Prasannaathmaa:

One whose mind is never contaminated by Rajas or Tamas.

238. विश्वसृक् - Vishvasruk :

The creator of the universe.

239. विश्वभुक् - Vishvabhuk:

One who eats up or enjoys or protects the worlds.

240. विभुः - Vibhuhu:

One who becomes many from Hiranyagarbha downwards.

241. सत्कर्ता - Sathkarthaa :

One who offers benefits.

242. सत्कृतः - Sathkruthaha :

One who is adored even by those who deserve adoration..

243. साधुः - Saadhuhu:

One who acts according to justice.

244. जह्नुः - Jahnuhu :

One who dissolves all beings in oneself at the time of dissolution.

245. नारायणः - Naaraayanaha :

Naaraa means Atman. Naaraayanaa, that is, one having His residence in all beings.

246. नरः - Naraha :

He directs everything, the eternal Paramathma is called Nara.
