Meaning: We will praise the The God (Lord Vinayaka) who sits on the lap of the Lord (Lord Shiva) who wears the Aathi flowers.
Aathichudi has 109 verses explaining the morals. The beauty is that it is organized in such a way that each verse is in the order of the vowels (Uyir Ezhuthu + Aayudha Ezhuthu) as under Uyir Varukkam (12 + 1), consonants (Mei Ezhuthu) and the combinant letters(Uyir Mei Ezhuthu) of the Tamil alphabet as under Uyirmei Varukkam (18) followed by Kagara Varukkam (12), Sagara Varukkam (11), Thagara Varukkam (11), Nagara Varukkam (11), Pagara Varukkam (11), Magara Varukkam (11) and Vagara Varukkam (11).
